This one-of-a-kind tattooed coaster is inspired by the Chinese fable of the cowherd and the weaver girl. In the story, magpies flock together to form a bridge across the Milky Way once a year to allow the two lovers to meet. The magpie on each coaster is accompanied by stars and a flower for one of the four seasons.
This magpie is paired with winter blooms of plum blossoms. Gold acrylic leather paint tattooed onto a black leather coaster. Coaster measures 4” diameter x 0.2” thick (approx. 10cm x 0.5cm).
