COVID-19 safety

The City of San Francisco ended their COVID-19 public health emergency declaration and any related health orders on February 28th, 2023. I am not requiring face masks in my studio but I encourage you to wear a mask for added protection if you have any health concerns. I ask that you respect my personal health decisions as well as the choices of others.

Below is a summary of the current health and safety protocol at my studio. This is subject to change at any time without advance notice, in accordance with any future directives from the SF Department of Public Health. Please be prepared to follow additional precautions not listed here, as instructed by me or my associates.

Mask policy

• You are not required to be masked but I welcome you to mask up if you prefer
• I wear a mask while I am tattooing to prevent exposure to possible airborne or bloodborne pathogens. If, for any reason, you would like me to wear a mask throughout your entire appointment, please do not hesitate to ask!

Entry to my studio

• I prefer to work one-on-one so that we can focus the experience on you, so it's best to attend your appointment alone. If you would like to bring a guest for moral support and input, please limit yourself to one guest only. Your guest may participate in the sizing and placement decision with your consent. Once we start tattooing, however, I will ask for your guest to wait in the separated seating area or visit neighboring businesses.
• Arrive for your appointment just a few minutes early or on time and be prepared to wait outside of the main entrance
• ActivSpace is a secure building, so please text me for entry (number will be provided when your appointment is confirmed)

The studio

• A HEPA air purifier will be running during all operating hours
• There is ample space outside of ActivSpace for clients to wait for appointments to begin. I have limited space in my studio, so please do not bring more than one guest with you to your appointment.
• Filtered water is available and you may bring your own drinking container

Our crew

• I am certified in bloodborne pathogen training and have taken additional COVID-19 safety training. I continue to adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with San Francisco County Health Department regulations.
• I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19. I have received the 2021 monovalent and 2022 bivalent boosters as well as the updated annual (2023 + 2024) vaccines. I will always have my vaccination records available if you would like to verify for your peace of mind.
